Holy crap my house was a mess! I couldn't believe how dirty it got when I was away for just 1 day! Dishes overflowing in the sink, papers and junk all over the table, things piled up on the kitchen counter, Alex's things scattered everywhere... what a job! Plus I did the laundry, take out the trash, and clean the kitty litter. At least Connor wasn't crying on top of it when I was trying to get it all done. I feel like super mom right now! This is such a cool accomplishment for me! Now I just need to get Alex to clean her room and I'll feel even better. She's gone for the weekend though. John let her mom take her. For those of you who know about her real mom situation, you'll get a kick out of this.. she's volunteered to take drug tests! HAHAHA!!!! What a joke!! She couldn't stay clean if her life depended it, which by the way of course it does! But that proves my point! If she could stay clean, that would be great. She already told Alex that her doing drugs was a lie. That came as a total blow in the head to Alex cuz she had no idea Jessica was even suspected of using. Big irresponsible thing for her to do! But then again, she's just great at being the perfect "what not to do" mom. Last time she had Alex she let her watch a horror movie. Sigh... that was a fun night when she got home.

AAAAHHHH!!!!

That's what I feel like right now. Everything is just.... ARGH! right now. John had decided that school was too much for him. He's overly stressed out and overwhelmed which not only effects him, but me and the kids. Not to mention his work is suffering from it. The only problem is if he quits now, we can't consolidate the loan and then we'd owe about $400 a month to pay off $31,000 dollars. So he's going to finish off this year and get his associates degree and quit rather than continue to go for his masters for another 3 years. I don't like it because when he's stressed over the limit, I get stressed too. And he's ALWAYS stressed now! I have to hear about how bad it is almost every day. He said he's going to try and have a better attitude about it, but we'll see how well that works. School + work + too much homework = pissed off John. That's just the math of it. Then you throw in no time with the family and he's even worse. The family has been on the back burner for a while now. And that is why I feel like AAAAHHH!!

Yay For No Sleep!

Ok, so it's been like 3 days now that Connor has been acting up. I don't blame him. I think his tummy has been hurting. But it's really starting to take it's toll on me having to be up all night and day with him. Does anyone know of any remedy for him? The doctor said he's too little for medicine.

Wedding Day

Last night was so much fun. Abbi looked beautiful, and I got to see some people I haven't seen in years. John is continuously amazed at how big the family is. There's always someone new he's never met and still more he has yet to meet. He's not great with remembering people when there's so many, so bear with him. He'll learn everyone eventually.
Alex has one more week left of school (she's in year round) and then she has a whole month off before starting 3rd grade. John is still in school but is wondering if it's the best thing for him right now. He's having a hard time keeping up on his homework since there's so much else going on. He's still convinced it's the best thing for us that he stays in, but the timing may not be right. Any thoughts?

I'm a little frustrated today. Connor has decided that nothing makes him happy and I'm about ready to pull my hair out just trying to get him to calm down. He's already eaten, and I know he's just tired but getting him to sleep is the problem. He just doesn't want to. I've resorted to just letting him cry in his crib for a while. Maybe he'll tire himself out. He was asleep not long ago. That lasted maybe 5 minutes. *sigh* I hate to let him scream but I need to just walk away right now. We're heading off to Abbi's wedding reception tonight. I can't wait to see her in her dress, I'm sure she's gorgeous!
