Connor's First Easter

I know the pictures look blurry, he wouldn't hold still. Sorry. But Connor loved his Easter basket! (mom and dad loved it too!) He was so cute and immediately started to go through it like he was actually interested in what he got. Then he just tipped it over. Haha. But he had a good Easter! Alex spent Easter at her mom's this year. We had a basket for her when she got back though. She had a good time too. Connor's favorite thing he got was his Easter bunny. He has already sucked on the ears enough and made them gross :)

I Think It's Spring!

I'm so excited! We have flowers coming up in our not-so-pretty-yet backyard! That must mean spring is close! FINALLY!!

John tore out the nasty spider infested bushes a few days ago. Our yard looks so bad right now, but at least we've taken the first step to making it better. Oh, and if anyone wants some rail road ties as firewood or something you can have as much as you like! We're tearing those out next. Kortney, want any for your fire pit?

Bad Day

Today is getting off to a bad start. I feel so frustrated and it's only noon. There's just too much stress! John has been applying for jobs over the past few days and he has an interview tomorrow now for a much higher paying job in the IT field. He's so stressed over it which is in turn stressing me out. I shouldn't let it effect me, but it does. This is what John has been waiting for. He has been really worried about finding a high paying job before he got his bachelors degree. If he got this, it would make things SO much better. So that has been weighing on both of us since last night. But I also have been trying to find a way to get Alex flute lessons and a flute that doesn't cost $350 dollars AT THE CHEAPEST! Why the crap are they so expensive?! So I'm trying to get that done while listening to the baby in the background whine and cry because he feels like being impossible today and not be happy with ANYTHING, and Alex constantly bugging me about when she's getting her flute. I just want to run away and hide. I know a lot of people have it a lot worse than me. I shouldn't be so pitiful. I just don't handle stress well. Let's just hope the day gets better!

It's Fixed!

Hooray!! My car is fixed! I've been without a car for over a week now and I'm sick of it! But now it's fixed and we're picking it up when John gets off work. Turns out the timing belt broke on it. That was a pretty major problem. But somehow, cheaper then if it were the fuel pump like we originally thought. Hey, that's fine with me! So YIPPEE!!! I get my car again!

Speaking Of Rude....

I just found out that my mother-in-law is STILL holding a grudge against me! OH MY GOSH! Seriously.. it happened almost a year ago that she decided to use our house as a hotel after I had the baby. I had every right to be put out over what she did. But I got over it, why can't she?! UGH! She's still telling John "Well I can NEVER stay at your house again! Kami is just too much!" Whatever.
