Grin N' Bear It
I'm sure all of you know (at least those of you who live in Utah) about the construction starting for the Legacy Highway. Well, apparently there are about 4 projects branching out from that and one of them is called the Mountain View Project. I DON'T like this one. Why? Because it means I'm going to have a highway in my back yard. I live right behind 5600 west. My back yard is separated from it by a wall. That wall isn't much for a sound barrier, so what's going to happen when it's a highway? They better put up a new one. They have 2 different options for where to build it, but ultimately they're favoring 5600. It puts us in a rough spot. We don't want to live next to a highway, but we can't sell for at least another year. It's going to depreciate the value of our home, and make it a lot harder to sell when we do. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll choose the other one at the last minute. Or maybe they won't start building it until next year and we're lucky enough to move first. I don't like being in rough spots.

That stinks. Hopefully it will take a while to build. I'm sure it will. That's gonna be a mess for a while. Good luck with that one.
